While you’re here, make sure to check out North Head: a huge expanse of bushland with views of the harbour and ocean. It’s a stroll from the unit. Keep an eye out for penguins and bandicoots.

The Neighborhood:
One of Sydney’s most sought-after beachside addresses, Manly is just 17 minutes from the CBD via a scenic fast ferry ride. It really is a self-sufficient beach outpost, with a burgeoning coffee culture, and its own nightlife and restaurant scene. Surfing is big, obviously, but kicking back is just as popular.

Getting Around:
Ferries leave from Manly Wharf, less than five minutes’ walk away. The fast ferry is a 15-minute trip, the regular ferry half an hour. Buses to Chatswood and the Northern Beaches leave from Manly Oval.

We highly recommend using ride sharing service Uber.
