From here it's a really quick walk to the beach, and you can even walk to the Manly ferry over the headland – almost an overdose of ocean scenery. After swimming, enjoy the relaxed shopping strip at Freshwater or chill on the balcony or in the yard. The place has everything you need, from air-con to a stunning modern kitchen with breakfast bar, from comfy furniture to private parking.

The Neighborhood: Freshwater is everything that's great about Sydney's Northern Beaches. The beach itself is stunning and wedged between two headlands; Sydneysiders often say that it's their favourite place to swim. The streets are leafy and quiet, and there's no shortage of places to eat or have a drink. On the both fronts, try the Harbord Beach Hotel (universally known to locals as the Harbord Hilton).
Getting Around: The bus to the CBD leaves from right outside our door, and you can walk, beachside, to the Manly ferry in 30 minutes (or catch a 10 minute bus from right outside if that feels too hard – we feel ya).
We highly recommend using ride-sharing services.
