Pacific ocean, beautiful Barrenjoey headland and peaceful Pittwater all in one sweeping glance! A short walk to both Palm Beach and Whale Beach. Weekends or longer holiday stays. Beach and pool swimming, walking, fishing, boating are all accessible in and around Palm Beach environs..... or just days of relaxation, the sound of the ocean, the calm and peace of a beautiful natural environment, soaking up the sun's rays and those gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

Perhaps you have an event to attend locally? Weddings and other celebrations - most venues are a short car ride away or in healthy walking distance!

Relaxed living

Beautiful Palms can accommodate up to 4 people in two bedrooms - one queen, one king, which can be split into two king singles. A comfortable and relaxing atmosphere - board games, books and broadsheets, the order of the day, rather than the big screen!

The cottage, one of the few remaining fisherman's holiday cottages in Palm Beach, circa 1930's (revamped in the 80's!) is totally lined in cypress pine. A wide deck runs the length of the cottage with views to the ocean from nearly every room (even the w.c.!) It is inviting and relaxing and makes for a comfortable, no fuss, break away from the encumbrances of city living.

Breakfast with the birds in amongst the tree tops. Then, duck down for a morning swim to start your day. Long lunches on the deck and an afternoon nap before more swimming and walks are usually the order of the day. Feel free to cook your meals in a cute 80s 'retro', wattle coloured, fully equipped kitchen or BBQ out on the deck.

Alternatively, visit one of the many cafes and restaurants, all in a healthy walking distance - the 'Boat House' and 'Barrenjoey House' are favourites amongst visitors to Palm Beach! Catch the ferry across to Patonga - renowned for it's fabulous fish & chips, or Ettalong - I have heard, good oysters. Go on a picnic via ferry across Pittwater to 'The Basin'. Take a scenic ferry tour up the Hawkesbury river or, in season, go whale watching. Sailing enthusiasts will enjoy the panorama of sails on racing days from both the Pittwater and ocean sides of Palm Beach, or in the right breeze, the hang gliders overhead.

Two bathrooms (again a bit retro and the second downstairs off the laundry) and an outside shower to wash away the sand from the beach. Two beaches in walking distance to choose from - Palm Beach 700 metres to the north and Whale Beach 1300 metres to the south, along Whale Beach Rd.

NOT FOR THE FEINT HEARTED !! - there are a number of stairs leading up to the cottage and is therefore, NOT suited for the disabled or very elderly. The cottage may not be suitable for toddlers or very young children unless under careful parental supervision.

Weekends and holidays - perfect, if you are attending wedding or another celebration held at a local venue.

If you are a couple, a family or simply a group of friends - and just want somewhere beautiful and peaceful to land for a few days, this is the spot for you! When you make a booking for a weekend, whole week or month during holiday periods, early arrival or late departure times are available - please ask. These are dependent on other bookings around your booked dates - most requests can be met!

Tariff is based on the 'whole cottage rental'. The number of persons should not exceed the number of beds available.
