## Neighborhood

There is a considerable Italian influence into Haberfield, and as result of this influence it's a foodie heaven. Walk down Ramsay Street on a Saturday morning and you’ll feel you’ve gone through a time warp and entered 1950’s Italy.
There are traditional Italian bakeries, specialty cheese shops, cake shops, modern cafes, pizzerias, a butcher, delis and supermarkets that have endless supplies of all things Italian. You’ll often see small groups of middle aged and elderly Italian men congregating on street benches for a chat or willing to exchange cheeky banter with younger women. The food is among the best you’ll find anywhere in Sydney, often at cheaper prices. You'll love the flavour that Haberfield has to offer.

## Transit

To get around is very easy. The Light rail is only a 15mins walk (Marion station). Alternatively you can take the bus (438) from the Alt and Ramsey street bus stop to the CBD.

'It’s worth noting Sydney does have a tropical climate, and so there may be a few bugs about in any property you stay in - nothing that would negatively impact your stay though!'

All bedrooms are upstairs. Please note that it is an old building and the stairs are narrow and fairly steep.
