The Neighborhood:
Sydney's oldest neighbourhood, Millers Point is known for its wealth of history, sandstone walls, Georgian architecture and classic pubs. The latter, including the Lord Nelson and Hotel Palisades, will make you feel like you've stepped back in time. The area is also home to Sydney Theatre Company (catch a show if you can), Sydney Observatory and the Barangaroo restaurant precinct. From here, you can walk to everything in the city.

It’s possible to walk anywhere in the city, but you can get ferries to Manly and Taronga Zoo, as well as buses to the Inner West, at Circular Quay. Trains and buses to the North Shore can be caught from Wynyard Station.

Ride sharing
Ride sharing apps are a safe and easy way to get around, especially later at night when public transport services are less frequent. Prices are about two-thirds that of taking a taxi, but may surge during bad weather or public events.
