The Blue Bear is an oversized, 3 bedroom home located on one of Sydney's most exclusive streets. There is nothing better than spending the afternoons on our large balcony, eating cheese, drinking champagne, and watch the boats sail past. Located across the road from Sydney Yacht Club as well as Rushcutters Bay Park, our home offers the perfect lifestyle for the working holiday, Sydney getaway, or the family reunion.
The Blue Bear is a one of a kind, luxurious getaway.
HOUSE RULES:
*Check-in: After 3:00 pm
*Checkout: 10:00 am
*No smoking
*No parties or events
*Pets are allowed (special requirements are in place for this. Please refer to the additional rules below)
ADDITIONAL HOUSE RULES:
*Please see the house rules. As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.
*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties of any sort. The maximum amount of guests staying in this property is six, however, we do allow day visitors up to a maximum of ten people, including the guests who have booked.
*Credit card details must be provided when booking. There could be a $1,000 fine for any breach of rules.
*This apartment is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.
*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering out the front of the building. Please respect our home and neighbours. We ask for minimal noise in the common areas especially after 9 pm.
*This property is approved for accommodation only. The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (including day visitors) above those booked and paid for must be approved in writing before the stay.
*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.
*STRA Rules - Guests will be required to send their ID’s, email addresses, full names and contact number(s).
* Pets - We are a pet-friendly property. We ask all our guests to contact us for approval of pets before booking and include your request in the reservation form as there is a pet fee of $110 per stay to cover the cost of extra cleaning and disinfection. Please do not allow your pets to do on the furniture.
*Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is prior to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in than 3 pm and we are able to accommodate your request, there may be an additional charge. If you wish to check out later than 10 am, there may also be an additional charge.
THINGS TO KNOW:
*We do have a car space for this property. In order to park, you will need to collect the keys for the home first. The space for the car is on the right hand side of the building (the right garage door) and it's the second spot on the right, directly in front of the garage door. Alternatively, There is 2-hour free parking out the front of the building, Monday to Sunday. Across the road where the park is, there is 24 hour free parking, 7 days a week. Please keep in mind there is limited availability and this is NOT guaranteed.
*This property is suitable for babies or children. Items such as cots and high-chairs we do not supply, however, you are welcome to bring these yourself to the property.
*Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.
*There are cameras in the foyer of the building, but not inside the home. This is normal for Sydney apartments and is for the safety of the residents as well as guests! Rest assured, it will not have any affect on your privacy!

Darling Point is one of Sydney's most exclusive suburbs. Darling Point is a 15-minute walk to the Sydney CBD, 5-minute walk to Potts Point, and is surrounded by some of the best views Sydney has to offer!
Some of the highlights of Darling Point are the local beaches within walking distance and a short drive. Most of these are pet friendly!
Double Bay Beach: 19-minutes walk from our apartment.
Seven Shillings Beach (recommended): 8-minute drive or a 26-minute walk from our apartment.
Shark Beach Vaucluse (recommended): 15-minute drive from the apartment.
Milk Beach (recommended): 15-minute drive from the apartment.
Rose Bay Beach: (DOG FRIENDLY) - a 17-minute drive from the apartment.
Bondi Beach: 1 stop on the train from Edgecliff station, and a small bus ride. Plenty of shopping at Bondi Westfield on your way!
Access is via a lockbox. Details will be provided on the day of check-in at 7 am for security reasons.
