The Neighborhood: Fairlight is the slightly less busy neighbour of Manly. The quieter neighbourhood has its fair share of beaches, which are popular for tide pooling, snorkelling, scuba diving and swimming. It’s also connected to the famous beaches and various shopping and dining spots in Manly by the Fairlight Walk, which hugs the coastline. As you head north away from the water, Fairlight offers a number of coffee spots and includes the Manly Golf Club.

Public transport The Manly Wharf ferry terminal is about 950 metres away and has regular ferries into the Sydney CBD in around 30 minutes. There are bus stops along Lauderdale Avenue with multiple lines servicing the surrounding area.
Ride sharing Ride sharing apps are a safe and easy way to get around, especially late at night when public transport services are less frequent. Prices are about two-thirds of a taxi, but may surge during bad weather or public events.
