An open plan waterfront cottage on Scotland Island in beautiful Pittwater.

Scotland Island is a wonderful retreat from the rat race and only 45 minutes from the city. Escape to a unique water-access only paradise!

Clean, private and peaceful with a full north aspect with sun all day, deep water jetty and private sandy beach for swimming and stunning water views. Child and pet friendly. Lots of extras available on request including use of stand up paddle boards, kayaks and fishing gear. Breakfast and catering options available. Local boat hire available.

Getting here is part of the adventure!

The easiest way to the the island is to drive or catch public transport to Church Point where you then catch a ferry or water taxi to the island.

Parking:

There are two public car parking areas at Church Point which are both ticketed.

One is the open air carpark next to the Pasadena restaurant. The other is undercover on the left hand side just as you pass the Waterfront Café on your right. At the top of the ticket machine there are instructions for how to purchase a long stay ticket.

There is also some street parking with varying limits.

Mc Carrs Creek Road: Drive up McCarrs creek in a westerly direction toward Mc Carrs creek. Just over the crest of the hill past Holmeport Marina there are free parking options on both sides of the road.

Eastview Road: There are also some free and 4 hour parking spots on Eastview road which runs up the hill behind Church Point. There is a little path that runs from the end of Eastview Road down to the Church Point Ferry Wharf.

It’s usually best to drop any luggage at Church Point in the loading zone next to the ferry wharf and then park.

Free parking is available at various locations in Pittwater. Private boat transfer is available to and from these locations. Please contact host for information.

Ferry:

Church Point Ferries (see their website for timetable and ticket info )will take you to Tennis Court Wharf on Scotland Island from where it is a 5-10 minute walk to my place.

Ferry from the central coast to nearby Palm Beach and then a water taxi or public transport to Church Point is also an option.

Or even seaplane from Sydney if you'd like to arrive in style!
