The Neighborhood:
An even more sought-after address than neighbouring Balmain, which is already plenty sought after, Birchgrove is famed for its grand homes and water views. Its sleepier than its larger neighbour, but only a short hop on the ferry to the city. Large Victorian terraces and freestanding homes are mixed in with plenty of parkland, and the local social scene revolves around trendy cafes.
