Centennial Parklands

Centennial Parklands are considered the 'lungs of the city', covering more than 360 hectares and located less than five kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Considered one of the most intensively used urban parklands in the world, Centennial Parklands has a wide range of events, activities, attractions and experiences to entertain tourists and locals alike. The park is one of the few in the world to offer inner-city horse riding - available through Centennial Park Equestrian Centre. Shady picnic and barbecue areas also cater for larger groups while the reed fringed ponds are an ideal setting for observing water birds or just sitting and relaxing.
