Sitting on a ridge, and just over a kilometre from Avalon centre and local beaches, our home is flooded in light all year around. Only five minutes from Avalon, Bilgola or Newport Beaches it has 180-degree views out to the Pacific Ocean, across to Pittwater, and a vista that stretches hundreds of kilometres north up the coast. Watch the full moon rise over the ocean as you have dinner on the deck and the sunset behind the bushland of Pittwater with afternoon drinks. Breakfast on the deck as the sunrises is magnificent.

Surfing, swimming, sailing, fishing, golfing, trekking and bushwalking are all within minutes of our home. Relax in the house or on one of the balconies to watch the native birdlife in the mornings and afternoons: cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, king parrots, hawks and many other birds will glide past or sail high above. In the afternoons you will be visited by our local cockatoo friends before they settle down for the night in the valley below You might also meet our shy baby bush turkey who frequents the garden.

We have a solar heated plunge pool and hundreds of books in our library covering a plethora of genres. We have fabulous local restaurants, a cinema, cafes and homewares and clothing stores nearby. While you can easily walk to the shops and beaches we do recommend a car (it's a steep hike back up the hill to the house.) We are also on the bus routes to Sydney

There are three good size bedrooms each with a queen bed. The huge main bedroom has a large balcony with stunning views, walk-in dressing room and ensuite. There is a chef's kitchen with Miele products and everything you could need to create your favourite dishes. We have gas heating and air conditioning in the living areas and air conditioning in the main bedroom. The second and third bedroom have ceiling fans.

The cliff we live on is whisper quiet - this is one of its many beauties - and we would ask that you respect the quiet by not having parties or playing loud music that would disturb our neighbours.

Furnished eclectically with cherished items collected from our travels around the world we will be leaving it in your good hands. It is important to us that you look after it as you would want your home cared for.

Although we are happy to have children here please understand the house might not suit small children, although we've had small children here. If you are concerned please contact us and we can discuss. We are pet friendly.

We supply super fast unlimited internet, Netflix on our 'smart' TV and a number of board games.
